Aer Lingus Transatlantic Expansion
Aer Lingus is pleased to announce the significant expansion of our transatlantic route offerings for 2014. In addition to existing services to Boston, Chicago, New York and Orlando, Aer Lingus will commence direct year round services between Dublin and San Francisco with 5 services per week. Customers will be able to avail of a wide choice of connections to 16 cities on the West Coast and beyond including Seattle, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Diego.
Aer Lingus will also commence a direct daily service between Dublin and Toronto which will also offer customers possibilities of connecting to 8 cities within Canada including Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary.
Aer Lingus will increase frequencies on Shannon - Boston and Shannon - New York, offering year round services to both these US cities and access up to 40 destinations in North America with airline partners.
This expansion will bring the Aer Lingus Long Haul schedule to 10 daily transatlantic services between Ireland and North America. Transatlantic capacity will increase by 24% in 2014 following on from the 13% increase in
2013.
