Air Europa improves its on-board services with
Air Europa is now serving passengers on board its long-haul flights originating in Madrid, and to those travelling in business class on all its domestic and European flights, new, healthier meals made from organic products with certificates of origin. This is part of its initiative to improve its on-board services by promoting healthy eating and contributing to a more balanced diet, with all the benefits that this implies.
These meals, prepared by renowned chef Antonio Fernandez, have been available since Friday 1 April. The food that predominate in these meals are those that conserve all their nutritional properties and have additional certificates guaranteeing the authenticity of their origin and ecological, sustainable production.
Chef Antonio Fernandez asserts that "Air Europa will become the trend leader, as far as on- board cuisine is concerned. We have made various changes so as to offer our passengers healthy food. As part of our starters we have included the so-called 'superfoods' because of their nutritional properties; in our main courses we are also serving products with a quality certificate; and among other things, we have eliminated sauces so that the passenger can decide for themselves if they want them or not.
In addition, the meals are served on new recyclable materials with an innovative design, a further step towards offering passengers a unique, unequalled experience. The new menus will contribute to increasing both the quality and the level of comfort and well-being that Air Europa offers on its flights. In addition, on long-haul routes, duvets and pillows with quality certificates will also be available to travellers using the airline.
A commitment to more ecological, healthy meals is another of the improvements made by Air Europa in its expansion and modernisation plan as it strives to become one of the best and most modern airlines in the world.
