Air Mauritius Annual Results for Financial Year 2015-2016

The board of Air Mauritius approved the annual results for Financial Year 2015-2016 which ended with profits of Rs. 675 million (EUR 16.5 million). This is a strong improvement on the losses of EUR 23.6 million realized during Financial Year ended 31 March 2015.
This result was achieved on a record turnover of EUR 488,3 million representing a growth of 5.4% compared to Financial Year 2014-2015.
The company registered the highest number of passengers carried at 1,499,411. Seats offered increased by 3.4% and load factor improved to 78.7%. Shareholders’ funds increased from EUR 42.9 million to EUR 82 million.
