Considerably lower joining fees and annual participation fee of only USD 500 (while regular BSP can reach over USD 16,000 per annum). No monthly fees. Available in over 100 countries. IATA IBCS and BSP programs are platforms used by almost all airlines around the world. The IBCS system provides electronic tickets, facilitates and simplifies the selling, reporting and remitting procedures, and improves financial control and cash flow, saving on administrative resources and traffic document inventory costs. Settlement of travel agents receivables is done directly through IATA BSP financial services and is remitted on time. (while some other distribution solutions often delay settlement to airlines). Any airline can choose to convert from IBCS to full BSP at its own discretion with no penalties involved. |
