Singapore Airlines appoints TAL Aviation as General Sales Agent for Bulgaria

Singapore Airlines (SIA) appointments TAL Aviation Bulgaria as new General Sales Agent for Bulgaria from 1 November 2012. TAL Aviation Bulgaria will represent Singapore Airlines in Bulgaria and handle sales, marketing, reservations and ticketing activities from their office in Sofia.

 Commenting on their appointment, Andrew Yip, Singapore Airlines General Manager France covering the Bulgarian market said: “Our new partnership with TAL Aviation Bulgaria will strengthen our position in the Bulgarian market. We are confident by selecting the company as an experienced airline representative, that we will further improve the quality of our services to the customers and deepen the cooperation with our most important corporate as well as leisure partners in Bulgaria.”

 TAL Aviation’s President and CEO, Gideon Thaler, said “since Singapore Airlines is known as the benchmark for quality in the airline business, it gives me particular pleasure that they entrusted their representation on the Bulgarian market to TAL Aviation. We look forward to working closely with them and our partners in the market to develop our business together in the future.”

From Istanbul, the closest gateway to Sofia, Singapore Airlines operates a four weekly direct flight service to Singapore with a modern 285 seat Boeing 777-200ER in a two class configuration (30 Business class and 255 Economy class).
