TAL Aviation Reaffirms its position as a Global Airline Representation Company with new Sales Offices in Asia

TAL Aviation continues to react to the strong growth in air travel to and from Asian markets by opening new Representation Offices in key Asian markets.  TAL Aviation Group now offers Sales Offices for Airline Representation and Tourism Boards in: China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Australia.

Nissim Sagis, VP Commercial at TAL Aviation, says “it has been a busy year preparing ourselves for the continued increased demand of airline traffic and travel to and from the Asian markets and I am confident that with the closure of 2014 we are ready to provide the airlines with GSA, Cargo, BSP and ARC distribution solutions and other services through the excellent ties and professional teams we have formed with our Representation Offices in Asia - Pacific".   
 
TAL Aviation's portfolio of customers has over 40 Airlines and Tourism Boards with a growing number of customers based in Asia Pacific including Asian/Pacific carriers such as Bangkok Airways, Cathay Pacific, China Southern, Fiji Airways, Hainan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas Airways, Singapore Airlines, SriLankan Airlines and IndiGo. 

IATA : Airlines expect to see a 31% increase in passenger numbers between 2012 and 2017

TAL Aviation anticipates increased business for its global network, in particular the Asian and Latin American markets, following continued predictions from numerous sources such as The International Air Transport Association (IATA) which recently released its first 20 year passenger growth forecast with an expected 7.3 billion in passenger numbers by 2034, representing a 4.1% average annual growth in demand for air connectivity.

According to IATA, China is expected to replace the USA as the world’s largest passenger market by 2030. In 2034 flights to, from and within China will account for some 1.3 billion passengers, 856 million more than in 2014 with an average growth rate of 5.5%. Cargo traffic is also predicted to increase to 44 million tonnes.

TAL Aviation Continues Expansion in Asia

Hong Kong & China the Representation Offices provide sales coverage in Whole Mainland China, Hong Kong & Macau. Its Head Office is located in Hong Kong with branch offices in China - Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Wuhan (Shenyang office and Xiamen office to be opened).  

China is preparing for the dramatic increase in traffic with various schemes being launched with an aim to support aviation development in Shenzhen for example, to encourage airline companies, charterers, air cargo agents to develop passengers and cargo business. Targets include non-base airlines or charterers launching new cargo route to Shenzhen Airport and airlines launching new night flights to Shenzhen Airport.  At the same time, Beijing Daxing International Airport (or Beijing Capital Second International Airport) is a planned airport serving Beijing.  Construction commenced in 2014 and is scheduled to be completed in 2018. Passenger handling capacity is 45 million passengers per annual in initial stage.

In Japan the Representation Office of TAL Aviation is ideally located in the heart of Tokyo. Its team is encouraged by an overall positive trend in travel and tourism during 2013 despite a declining and ageing population.  The forecast period until 2018 predict that the number of outbound trips is expected to increase by 2% reaching 19.1 million in 2018. 

TAL Aviation Korea Its Representation Office located in Seoul, the business and financial hub of South Korea.  Encouraging forecasts for its country’s economy has boosted passenger traffic which saw almost 15 million Koreans travelling abroad since the beginning of the year.  Seoul’s primary airport, Incehon International Airport is the world’s ninth busiest airport in terms of international passengers in 2013.  Rated the best airport worldwide by Airports Council International, the airport connects to 195 cities worldwide. 

TAL Aviation Singapore TAL Aviation Representation Office in Singapore has just gone through renovations with a chic, revamped look.  Its team and the travel market  has seen an increase in passengers travelling through Changi Airport during the first three quarters of 2014 with 40.09 million passengers which could be partly explained to the freedom in travel – Singaporean passport holders can travel to 170 countries without requiring a visa, being ranked fifth in travel freedom!
