Country Focus:

Romania:

The name Romania is a derivative of the Latin "Romanus", meaning "Citizen of Rome".  Often compared to a "Latin island in a Slav sea", Romania features a unique familiar feeling in Eastern Europe: its language of a Latin origin, the Latin alphabet (quite rare in this part of Europe) and moreover the Latin temperament and friendliness of its people - all make Romania a place where most visitors feel very comfortable.

Romania was one of the least visited countries in Europe until 15 years ago. Closed for more than 40 years behind the "Iron Curtain", Romania is a land of many genuine treasures that are being discoved every day by more and more tourists coming from all over the world. The Romanians, also, discovered the taste of freedom and are travelling nowadays in Europe just to have a coffee in Vienna, shopping in Dublin, or to follow the lastest fashion trends in Berlin, but also to visit their friends and relatives in Australia or the USA, or spend the holidays in exotic places such as Bali, China, Iceland, India, Maldives & Turkey.
TAL Aviation Romania specializes in airline representation since 2007, and proudly holds in its portfolio big names in the aviation industry: Aer Lingus, Air Berlin/Niki, Pegasus Airlines (these carriers are online in Bucharest) and offline carriers Cathay Pacific, Dragonair, Jet Airways and Icelandair.

The Romanian team is young and dynamic, covering Romania and Moldova with personal visits to IATA and non IATA agencies, Corporate accounts, seminars, e-blast newsletters, participation in special events and working closely with associated embassies, consulates and tourism commissions.
