Dear valued friends, colleagues and customers,
TAL Aviation is celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2012, and preparations are in place for various events for our employees, colleagues, and customers. I am proud to say that in 25 years we have managed to build a strong foundation in 36 countries. I should explain that our basic philosophy is to be involved and committed to providing the very best quality service to our clients rather than outsourcing to an external company. I am being asked many times by people in the industry why are we expanding in the global arena at a slower pace than our competitors, and my answer is that we prefer either to open our own offices or set up a partnership with reliable partners. We shall do it cautiously and selectively, as we have always been doing it. We continue to strive for excellence and bring true value to our client relationships. By the end of this year we intend to be present and active in the main global business centers. We will keep you informed of our progress.
Gideon Thaler President & CEO

Country Focus:
BulgariaBulgaria today is a hugely different country from what it was 10 years ago. Bulgaria is a fully paid up member of NATO and has been in the EU since 2007. Massive foreign investment has created a construction boom both in the large beach areas, and in the cities. A Gulf country has pledged to deposit $200 million in the Bulgarian Central Bank to show its committment about investing in this Balkan state. Two countries are working together to buid a new 300k highway, connecting the Danube River Bridge with Istanbul. Bularia is bordered in the North by Romania, South by Greece and Turkey, West by Serbia, South West by Macedonia and East by the Black Sea. TAL Aviation is GSA for Aer Lingus, Jet Airways and TAP in Bulgaria. Sofia Airport (SOF) is approx. 12 km from the city center, and around 26 airlines are flying into Sofia. Bulgarians love to travel, with their main interests lying in London, Austria, Germany, (Business and Leisure), Dubai, Thailand, Brazil & USA.
