We have bid farewell to 2013, and welcomed in 2014 with an eager outlook, and are planning for bigger and better to come!
The past year has been one of expansion for TAL Aviation, adding new territories and products to our growing network of airline, hotel chains and tourist destinations & attractions. Our aim, as always, is to serve our clients in the most professional manner while keeping their brand strong in the markets where we represent them. It is with great pleasure we welcome the new offices and clients in South America; our newest addition is in Sao Paulo, Brazil and will be operational from mid January. TAL Aviation now offers representation in the following South American countries: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama & Uruguay. In North America, in addition to our offices in Canada and USA, we are pleased to advise that Mexico is also up and running. Our European offices remain strong, we are covered throughout the continent, as well as having partners in Australia and India.
Changes are coming with the New Year, and we would like to forecast 2014 as one of the strongest years yet for our valued customers and for the TAL Aviation Group. One of the enhancements to the services we provide, is TAL Aviation joining ARC as of January this year. This enables us to offer airline and rail clients the ability to conduct business in the USA, a great opportunity with huge potential especially for smaller and mid-size carriers.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines – Cargo GSA for Canada
Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ main hub is at Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka and it also operates flights from its secondary hubs Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong and Osmani International Airport in Sylhet. It has air service agreements with 42 countries and currently flies to 16 different countries.

Wideroe Flyveselskap A.S – (WF) (Norway) for Poland
Wideroe, the largest regional airline in Scandinavia, appoints TAL Aviation as its General Sales Agent in Poland. Widerøe flies to 47 domestic and international destinations (Denmark, Sweden, England, Scotland). It operates more than 450 flights every day and operates to more than twice as many airports in Norway than any other airline.
The largest non Norwegian population in Norway belongs to the Polish community – over 100,000. This is a great opportunity for Polish travellers to fly within Norway and Wideroe offers a convenient network for the business traveller, leisure and marine traffic.

TAL Aviation invests in interesting and productive training sessions for staff. Earlier this year, sales training for Country Managers and Sales Representatives was held in Prague, Czech Republic. Airline Focus: Air Tahiti
Air Tahiti Nui , the flagship carrier of French Polynesia , has appointed TAL Aviation Ltd its General Sales Agent in the Russian Federation from 1st of September 2013. Access to the emerging Russian tourism market is an important strategic step for Air Tahiti Nui.
The Russian travel market has very high potential in terms of exclusive and VIP tourism. It is extremely interesting to an airline which now can offer Russian citizens to travel and visit one of the most exotic places on the planet with very smooth and easy connections.
In October 2013 ATOUT France Tourism Office held a series of Workshops in the main cities of Russia – Moscow, Saint Petersburg – to acquaint the market with the most recent news about French Polynesia and its opportunities for Russian travelers. The event was very successful, there were many attendees that reflected a high level of interest to the destination and the possibilities of the region. Air Tahiti Nui took part in the event and the results show definite interest and good prospects.

Airline Focus: Germania
Germania launched direct service from two German cities to Moscow Domodedovo Airport (DME), from Leipzig / Halle (LEJ) on 5 December, and from Karlsruhe-Baden (FKB) on 12 December. These routes are joining the carrier’s existing service from Bremen (BRE) to Moscow (DME).
Germania is the only carrier operating non-stop service from the Russian capital to these cities.
Germania will operate Airbus A319 , economy class configuration, twice-weekly on each route, total 6 flights a week, connecting Moscow with three cities in Germany.
In November 2013 Germania appointed TAL Aviation its General Sales Agent (GSA) in the Russian Federation. On 11th December 2013 Germania hosted an event in the exclusive Moscow Metropol Hotel celebrating the launch of the two new routes. More than 200 guests from the Russian travel trade and media attended this professional and well received event.
