Destination Highlight: ArgentinaIguazú National Park
Created in 1934, declared World Heritage Site in 1984 and one of the Seven Natural Wonder of the World in 2012 , the Iguazú National Park in the province of Misiones, Argentine Litoral, hosts one of the most beautiful and amazing natural spectacles in the world. the Iguazú Falls. It comprises 67,000 hectares (165,560 acres) of land and is home to the great biological diversity of the subtropical rainforest. It features two thousand plant species, four hundred bird species and a truly exotic animal life. Here, we can find the yaguareté (jaguar), the biggest feline in the American continent. In this park, in the middle of the subtropical rainforest, the imposing water flow of the river, called “big water” by the Guaraní people, falls vertically producing an overwhelming sound. And you can hear the water roar. Along paths, footbridges and balconies, you will be able to appreciate the beauty of virgin nature at its best; and the huge waterfalls, which include the most striking waterfall in the world, Garganta del Diablo, will completely overwhelm you. Thank you to Mr. Emiliano Parrelli of Argentina Travel for this contribution.

Country Focus: ITALY
Greetings from Italy to all Tal@gram readers! TAL Aviation Italy srl has recently been added to the TAL Aviation Group. The team is made up of aviation experts in sales and marketing, ticketing and reservations. In effecting our job for our clients we cover the Italian territory with personal visits to selected agencies, tour operators, MICE operators, and corporate accounts; participate in key trade events; collaborate with tourism offices, embassies and authorities related to our accounts.
We use our extensive and consolidated contacts with the media to optimize the visibility of our clients in both consumer and trade media. Italy is a very attractive market for both incoming and outgoing traffic. On the one hand the country's natural beauty and culture are a sure attraction for tourism from all over the world and on the other, the proven love of the Italians to see the world make Italy an ideal and well balanced market for airlines to promote and develop their products. In fact Italy is the fifth country in the world for incoming tourism and with its population of 60 million shows a growing trend of travelling abroad. The tourism industry in Italy is extensive with approximately 10,000 agencies( travel agencies and tour operators), both incoming and outgoing. At the moment TAL Aviation Italy is the GSA for Air Baltic that operates in 5 Italian airports (Venice, Rome Fiumicino, Milan Malpensa, Bari, Olbia). Between incoming and outgoing traffic Air Baltic transports approximately 90,000 passengers per leg annually. The TAL Aviation team is tasking itself to increasing this market. We look forward to meeting some of you at the convention in June!
