This month, American is rolling out the red carpet with two major premieres: free inflight entertainment in all cabins with American Spotlight and our Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

American Spotlight features newly-released, award-winning movies and TV programs from HBO®, NBCUniversal, Disney, Sony Entertainment and many others, plus games and a wide variety of music. Travelers can enjoy all American Spotlight has to offer via our in‑seat screens, streaming video entertainment, inflight radio stations and more.
American already offers free entertainment on all of its international flights, and now, it's bringing travelers free personal entertainment selections in every cabin on nearly all of its domestic, mainline flights, too.
It's adding streaming video to more than 200 planes this month to give them free entertainment on 97% of its domestic flights. Travelers can browse its inflight library of award‑winning movies and television shows, which can be streamed to their personal device.

American has the youngest fleet of any U.S.‑based network carrier, and is now proud to welcome the 787 Dreamliner to the fleet.
The Dreamliner features in‑seat entertainment, power outlets and Wi‑Fi at every seat to keep travelers comfortable and productive in flight. Its Business Suite is custom‑designed to be the roomiest in the industry, and includes fully lie‑flat seats and direct aisle access. The American Dreamliner was built with travelers in mind, with larger, electro-chromatic windows they can dim with the touch of a button, and a quieter cabin for a more relaxed experience throughout the aircraft.
American wants travelers to enjoy the journey, and that means providing them with more options than ever before.
