Air Europa strengthens its route to Tel Aviv with two more flights and using the Dreamliner fleet

13 April, 2017

Air Europa, the air division of the Globalia tourist group, maintains its commitment to Tel Aviv and strengthens its offering to this destination, increasing its flights by 50% and flying part of its operations with the Dreamliner fleet.

Currently the airline flies to the main economic centre of Israel on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and from 11 April it will also operate on Tuesdays. Finally, at the beginning of July it will add a sixth frequency, which will operate on Thursdays.

Air Europa, in response to the good performance of the route since it began in March 2015, has also committed to adding this destination to its Dreamliner network. It will fly to Tel Aviv from July to October, coinciding with the peak season, and four days a week with one of the company's seven Boeing 787-8's. The route will be operated the other two days with a 737-800.

The excellent schedule of the operations enables passengers with flights that depart from Madrid during the night to connect, and in the case of Mondays, they also connect with the majority of transatlantic flights that depart early in the afternoon, among others.

The main novelties with respect to this route, with which Air Europa affirms its strong commitment to the destination, were announced during the latest IMTM show, the major tourist fair held in the TLV Convention Center, which all the tourist sector attends and where the latest innovations are presented.

During the first quarter of 2017 Air Europa transported more than 13,000 passengers to Tel Aviv, registering an average occupancy of 80%.
