Air Mauritus Announces profits of EUR12.6M for its 3rd Financial Quarter 2016

Air Mauritius has announced profits of EUR12.6 million (MUR490m) for the third quarter of the current financial year. Profits for the first nine months are at EUR 28.1 million (MUR1.1billion).
The following are some salient aspects for the quarter:
• Seats offered increased by 7.5% to reach 586,002
• Load Factor increased from 80.6% to 81.1%
• Competition caused yield to drop by 6%
