Air Serbia is increasing traffic to Montenegro
Air Serbia, the national airline of the Republic of Serbia, took concrete measures yesterday in order to respond to the increased demand in passenger air traffic between Serbia and Montenegro.
Having in mind the new circumstances caused by the suspension of Montenegro Airlines operations, Air Serbia increased the number of seats offered between the two countries, by introducing additional flights and increasing existing capacity through an aircraft type change. In order to serve all passengers who wish to travel in the upcoming holiday period, Air Serbia has so far introduced four additional flights in the coming days, while on seven existing flights the aircraft type has been upgraded from planned ATR-72 turbo-prop to jet aircraft type Airbus A319 and A320, which have twice the number of seats.
In addition to adjusting its schedule and capacities, Air Serbia has engaged additional resources at the airports in Podgorica and Tivat, as well as at its Belgrade hub, in order to serve all passengers in the new circumstances.
The Serbian national airline will continue to monitor the developments in the coming days and additionally adjust the offering to changes in demand.
