Air Tahiti Nui receives 3 awards
Air Tahiti Nui has stood out during the 2019 edition of the Global Traveler contest - Wines on the Wing. The airline was rewarded for the quality of the wines and champagnes served in its Business Class. Among the drinks served on long-haul Air Tahiti Nui flights, a white wine and a champagne each received a distinction.
This prestigious competition, entirely dedicated to oenology, highlights the quality and flavor of the products offered by international airlines. Every year, a jury of 23 professionals choose the best wines served aboard the first classes and business classes of international airlines. The members of the jury rate the wines and champagnes in competition after a blind tasting.
Air Tahiti Nui was rewarded in three different categories for its Poerava Business Class:
- 2nd place among the best champagnes for the Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve,
- 3rd place among the best white wines for Domaine Verget Mâcon-Villages 2016,
- 5th place in the general category "Wines on board - International Business Class".
For nearly three years, the company has collaborated with Olivier Poussier, elected best sommelier of France and of the World. The Air Tahiti Nui wine list offers quality products to go with the various meals and snacks served on board. The fruit of this collaboration is rewarded today by the Global Traveler.
Once again, the Polynesian company receives an award at an international level. It highlights the work done by Air Tahiti Nui for its customers.
