Binter expands its Flight Program in the Canary Islands
On July 20, the airline begins operating 1,148 weekly flights within the Archipelago, which will increase to 1,204 from August.
To make this increase in flights possible, the airline will add two additional aircraft to its fleet that operates between the islands, reaching a total of 16 active ATRs.
Gran Canaria airport will have an average of 27 daily connections with Tenerife North and seven with Tenerife South. Between Gran Canaria and Lanzarote an average of 25 daily flights will be operated; 21 with Fuerteventura; seven with La Palma; four with La Gomera and four with El Hierro, which doubles its connections. Between Tenerife North Airport and La Palma Airport, an average of 26 daily flights will be made; 18 with Lanzarote; 14 with Fuerteventura; seven with El Hierro and four with La Gomera.
Starting in August, the company will carry out an average of 172 daily flights between islands, eight more than in the previous period. The most reinforced routes will be those that connect Gran Canaria with the islands of Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and La Palma. Tenerife's links with Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, La Palma and El Hierro will also be increased.
