Fiji Airways Extends Codeshare Agreement With Qantas
Fiji Airways, Fiji’s National Airline, has announced that more destinations have been added to their codeshare agreement with Qantas, signalling easier travel to Fiji for all Australians.
Customers can now travel on one-ticket to Nadi, Fiji from major Australian cities and regional areas, including Perth, Hobart, Canberra, Darwin, Townsville and Rockhampton, with quick connections via Sydney or Brisbane.
Andre Viljoen, Fiji Airways’ Managing Director and CEO said: “We’re delighted to extend our agreement with Qantas to new destinations, reflecting our continued commitment to travelling Australians. This agreement offers the best possible connections to Fiji via Sydney and Brisbane, giving more Australians the option to say ‘Bula’ to Fiji sooner.”
In as little as four hours*, Fiji Airways offers direct services from Sydney (twice daily), as well as from Brisbane (daily), Melbourne (five times a week) and Adelaide (twice weekly). The full-service airline, famous for its friendly Fijian hospitality, also offers onward connections to the United States, including Los Angeles, San Francisco and also Honolulu, Hawaii. Fiji Airways also offers the most convenient connections through its Nadi Gateway to more of the South Pacific Islands.
Fiji Airways and Qantas customers will be able to book flights and check-through baggage when purchasing tickets from Fiji Airways’ sales channels, including its website, online travel sites, sales offices and reservation centres. Qantas travellers will be able to redeem Frequent Flyer points.
