Germania Launches New Route in November Berlin - Tel Aviv

image
29 October, 2017

Germania will link Berlin and Tel Aviv during the current winter season. From 10 November 2017, the airline's green and white aircraft will be operating three weekly flights between the German capital and the Israeli seaside metropolis. The airline is using the opportunity of an overnight service where its aircraft take off from Berlin-Tegel in the evening and arrive in Tel Aviv at night. This means that the return flight from Tel Aviv lands in Berlin-Tegel in perfect time for a leisurely breakfast at the Gendarmenmarkt or Kurfürstendamm.

"We are delighted that we are the only airline to operate these flights nonstop from BerlinTegel, while also delivering a quality product with our complimentary onboard service," said Claus Altenburg, Director Sales at Germania Fluggesellschaft, when the new route was announced. "We are steadily developing Tel Aviv as a destination, which is why we are currently seeking additional days of operation. Germania has plans to offer daily flights from the German capital in summer 2018."

Since 2015, Germania has been flying to this major Israeli city from Hamburg and Dusseldorf. On 2 November 2017 the airline will also start a nonstop service from Nuremberg, which will be operated on a year-round basis. Consequently, travellers from Germany will then have a choice of 11 green and white flights a week to Tel Aviv.
