Within less than a year of TAL Aviation, as IATA's official contractor connecting the airline to IATA's BSP (Billing & Settlement Plan) Programme in Mexico, the companies sign a representative agreement whereby TAL Aviation will be representing and providing services on behalf of the airline in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Panama.

This brings to a total of 9 global markets in which TAL Aviation is serving the airline.  In addition to the aforementioned: Austria, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

The announcement comes with IATA's recent forecast of the airline industry's strong profitability to continue in 2018. Passenger traffic is expected to rise 6% as more people than ever are travelling.  Airlines in Asia Pacific are expanding which can be reflected during the last period of 2017 where the Asia-Pacific carriers led the growth.
