Jet Airways upgrades' service offerings on Amsterdam-Mumbai / Delhi routes
Jet Airways, India's premier international airline, is set to enhance its service offering on all its ex-Amsterdam routes with the introduction of First Class suites to the existing Premiere product.
The airline had recently announced the introduction of its B777-300ER service between Amsterdam–Mumbai. Together with this new announcement, Jet Airways’ B777s will be deployed on all routes ex-Amsterdam including Amsterdam-Delhi and Amsterdam-Toronto leading to an increase in capacity with effect from January 12, 2017. This move will also enhance connectivity with Jet Airways’ partners - Delta Air Lines and KLM-Air France, providing guests from all partners with additional choice and greater convenience to connect onwards into North America / Europe and towards East via / into India.
Through this introduction, Jet Airway’s will give guests the option of flying the airline’s renowned First Class Suites, unique to the Boeing 777-300ER – the largest aircraft in its fleet. Combined with Jet Airways’ trademark warm Indian hospitality and a carefully-curated menu of fine-dining delicacies, it promises to make for an unmatched flying experience.
The Jet Airways' Boeing 777 service will offer eight First Class suites, 30 Premiere seats that open out into 180 flat beds, and 308 ergonomically designed comfortable seats in Economy.
Jet Airways connects India with 30 destinations across Europe and 28 destinations in the United States and Canada through its codeshare partnership with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Delta Air Lines via Amsterdam.
Deployment of its largest aircraft will also allow Jet Airways to offer significantly larger cargo capacity, providing more flexibility in transporting various types of consignments, including perishables, pharmaceuticals, machinery and industrial goods between Amsterdam– Mumbai/ Delhi.

Superior in-flight experience
The Jet Airways B777 offers guests a luxurious in-flight experience. Each of the eight First Class suites on the 777 aircraft features an 81-inch bed, a 23-inch flat screen monitor and carefully designed storage areas that include a personal hanging wardrobe, dual credenza and under ottoman stowage. Each of these private suites is designed to allow dining for two with a VIP/Business Jet style table, multiple LED lighting options, variable lumbar support and an eight point massage system. For those who wish to catch up with work, the First Class suites provide a power source and telephone connectivity.
Guests in the Premiere cabins can travel in the comfort of a virtual living room, with space to work, rest or entertain. The seat opens out to a 180 degree flat bed with lumbar support and a massage system.
Jet Airways economy seats, on board have a seat pitch of 32-inches, and are ergonomically designed to create the most comfortable economy seating in the sky.
The Jet Airways internationally renowned service includes a selection of fine food and beverages on board. It will offer Champagne and wines from around the world including Bollinger La Grande Année, served in Rona stemless glassware. The menu choices are extensive and plated on famed hand-crafted bespoke crockery from the house of William Edwards porcelain dinnerware.
With the airline’s state-of-the-art in-flight Panasonic eX2 entertainment system, guests have the choice of over 1,500 hours of Hollywood and Bollywood movies, regional films, television and short programming, audio CDs covering a wide spectrum of music genres.
