Malaysia Airlines Cabin Crew Gives Back This Christmas Season
In the spirit of giving back, Malaysia Airlines makes this year's Christmas festivity more memorable for underprivileged children with contributions of Christmas gifts from its employees.
Led by the airline’s cabin crew fraternity, the group handed over the gifts to the Orang Asli community at the Belihoi Settlement in Mantin on 22 December 2020 and Rainbow Home-based in Taman Ferngrove, Cheras on 23 December 2020.
Aimed at making a difference and uplifting the children’s spirit especially during these challenging times, the cabin crew initiated this project to grant each child their Christmas wishes. The project was well-received by other employees who also made contributions of toys, books, stationeries and clothes.
The airline also handed over knapsacks filled with snacks including Malaysia Airlines famous peanuts, sweets, cookies, biscuits, bread as well as T-shirts for boys and dresses for girls to wear on Christmas day.
Malaysia Airlines Berhad's Group Chief Operations Officer, Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi said, "Despite a turbulent year for us at Malaysia Airlines, it is heart-warming to see our cabin crew community still in high spirits to go above and beyond their call of duty to help others.
