Montenegro Airlines is the eighth time holder of an IOSA certificate
This year, for the eighth time in a row, Montenegro Airlines has been awarded the IOSA certificate, which is issued following a complex audit by the International Air Transport Association of IATA.
This year's auditors were from the Wake audit firm in England, and the company's compliance with the total of 927 standards and recommended practices was checked. The control included a management system, a flight operation, flight dispatch, cabin crew, aircraft maintenance, ground handling, cargo transportation, and a security system. Also, the training of our flight crew was simulated at the CAE Amsterdam School Center.
IATA is an international association of scheduled airlines with approximately 290 members in 120 countries, which has developed a standard called IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit), which is an internationally recognized and accepted aviation standard. The goal of IOSA checks is to evaluate and control the operational security of scheduled airlines. One of the requirements for a company to become and remain a member of IATA is to successfully pass the IOSA inspection.
Montenegro Airlines has been certified to IOSA standards since 2006. A company that once receives such an important certificate is required to undergo rigorous scrutiny every two years, and any subsequent renewal of the certificate presents an additional challenge. Meeting these IOSA standards is the best confirmation of the level of safety and security as well as the quality of work of Montenegro Airlines' operational services. The existing IOSA certificate is valid until January 13, 2022.
In addition, Montenegro Airlines implements the most stringent procedures and standards of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC), and all of these are subject to close scrutiny and implementation. by checking the Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro.
