image
7 April, 2021

With the aim of enhancing passengers' travel experience, Air Serbia entered into a partnership with Collinson, the company behind world famous travel programs at airports all over the world - Priority Pass, LoungeKey and Lounge Pass. Thanks to their partnership, members of these programmes will be able to access the Premium Lounge of the Serbian national airline in Belgrade as of 12 April.

"Creating an outstanding experience for passengers is a priority for us, which is why establishing cooperation with a leader in providing services in this field represents a special satisfaction for us. Thanks to the high quality of service and the comfort it offers, our Premium Lounge quickly became very popular among passengers. We believe that a greater number of passengers and an expanded offer will contribute to even better positioning on the global map of premium lounges," said Jiri Marek, General Manager, Commercial and Strategy, Air Serbia.

Air Serbia's Premium Lounge represents the first airline-specific lounge for passengers in Serbia. Since its opening in September 2015, it has been visited by 125,500 passengers. As of November 2016, the lounge has been open for passengers of other airlines taking off from the strip of the Belgrade Airport as well, and as of May 2017, entry to the Premium Lounge is offered as a part of ancillary services of Air Serbia.

Commenting on the news, Andy Besant, Director of Travel Experiences at Collinson, the operator of Priority Pass said, "The addition of Air Serbia’s Premium Lounge is a welcome addition to the programme, as we continue to grow our network of lounges to ensure our Members have access to quality lounges globally. As testing and vaccines enable travel restarting, airport lounges can provide a socially distanced space in which travellers can comfortably relax as they return to the pleasures of travel."

The luxurious Air Serbia Premium Lounge can host up to 80 passengers and offers quality restaurant services with an extraordinary selection of food and drink, spacious bathrooms with shower cabins and numerous benefits aimed at contemporary business travellers, such as wireless internet and USB ports for charging devices. The Lounge is open every day from 5 AM to 6 PM and is located in the transit zone between gates A4 and A5 at Terminal 2 of Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport. In accordance with the current circumstances, the Premium Lounge’s opening hours and service have been adapted to the Government’s hygienic and safety requirements.

Additionally, Air Serbia recently signed an agreement with Fly Dubai, which will offer the passengers of Fly Dubai and Emirates access to the Premium Lounge, and as of 1 April, this benefit is available to Qatar Airways passengers as well. With these new partnerships in mind, the Premium Lounge of the Serbian national airline will welcome far more passengers at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport. In addition to Air Serbia Business Class passengers, the lounge can also be accessed by users of Serbian national airline’s corporate member cards, and as of October 2020, by passengers with the Economy Comfort Tariff, who travel from Belgrade on an Air Serbia flight.
