Resumption of Commercial Cargo Flights
Air Mauritius has resumed commercial cargo operations to and from some designated destinations. After a first flight to Paris, on Friday 01 May, a commercial cargo flight was operated on 12 May with a full load of cargo. It is first time freight has been loaded in the cabin on an Air Mauritius flight departing from Mauritius.
The cargo was secured in the overhead racks. All safety measures were scrupulously adhered to and work practises were adapted by an enthusiastic cargo handling team.
