Air Transat and TAL Aviation sign an agreement for an additional market becoming the first carrier to offer direct flights between Israel and Montreal. TAL Aviation and Air Transat already enjoy a close cooperation with the representation of the airline in TAL Aviation, Mexico.

Air Transat will be operating twice weekly flights (on Mondays and Thursdays) between Tel Aviv and Montreal from June until the end of October. The new service will be operated by an Airbus A330-300. Passengers will be able to enjoy cabin comforts such as a personal entertainment system accessible via individual touch screens, complimentary checked baggage allowance and attentive crew. For those flying on the new service and wishing to continue on to Toronto, they will be able to do so using convenient connections Transat offers.
