TAL Aviation reports a record year in 2017
TAL Aviation, which celebrated its 30 years in the Aviation and Travel business in November 2017 is continuing to grow in more ways than one. Since its establishment in 1987 it has enjoyed a steady growth in sales, and the Company is proud to announce a particularly remarkable year in 2017.
In light of new customers contracted in the past year and increased head count of its sales force, TAL Aviation has seen an unprecedented growth in its global sales generated through its business partners it is representing. Global sales in 2017 represented an increase of 30% over the previous year. In terms of passenger traffic, an increase of 28% has been recorded.
2017 has been a particularly dynamic year for TAL Aviation in terms of its partnerships and cooperation with Chinese carriers and customers. The Company signed and extended new agreements with 4 leading Chinese carriers for GSA, Sales services as well as BSP distribution services. With the growing interest from Chinese customers, TAL Aviation will be placing continued focus on this market and envisages in 2018, it will have assisted in expanding Chinese carriers presence into nearly 20 territories throughout Europe and The Americas.
