TAP receives new airbus A320neo
TAP has received another Airbus A320neo in Lisbon, thereby continuing its fleet modernization process.
The Airbus CS-TVB is the first jetliner of this model to reach the company this year. The new Airbus A320neo, which now joins TAP's medium-haul fleet, offers 174 seats and even more comfort. The first Airbus A320neo was delivered to TAP in April 2018.
Until the end of this year, the company will receive 37 new jetliners from the 4 Airbus models: A320neo, A321neo, A321LR, and A330neo. TAP is expected to receive 71 new jetliners until 2025, thus becoming one of the most modern fleets in the world. In addition to the two A320neo, the TAP fleet includes five Airbus A321neo and three Airbus A330neo.
By modernizing its fleet with the most advanced jetliners on the market, TAP will be able to expand its offer and reach new destinations in an even more efficient way. TAP will thus strengthen its competitiveness, contribute to Portugal's growing centrality as an Atlantic hub for air transportation, and attract new tourist flows into the country.
